Humboldt Area Arts Council
The Humboldt Arts Council is a non-profit organization with the mission of enriching our community's quality of life by encouraging the education and appreciation of the visual, performing & literary arts.
Our vision is of a community that nurtures and expands creative talents through education and interaction of local artisans. The Humboldt Area Arts Council will bring opportunity for the integration of the arts into the everyday lives of youth and adults alike. The expression of art will be encouraged by dedicated volunteers and staff, with the growth and sustainability of the Council dependent upon community support and fundraising. The HAAC will provide a renewed sense of connectivity to an already bountiful artistic community.
The local non-profit organization was established in 2005 to promote and encourage an appreciation of the arts in the greater Humboldt Area. The board is comprised of 15 dedicated individuals serving 3 year terms. Officers are elected annually.
