To Strengthen Our Community, Foster Creativity and Celebrate Life Through the Arts.

The Youth Advisory Council

The Fort Dodge Fine Arts Association, is pleased to announce that we are

accepting applications for our 3rd year of the Youth Advisory Council, which

offers young leaders a voice in shaping the arts and culture in our community.

The initial tasks will set forth strategies for advancing arts education across

Webster County, both in schools and in communities, with a focus on Creativity,

Kindness, Equity and Inclusion.

The Youth Advisory Council will be comprised of up to 15 young students, ages

14 – 18, who are passionate about the arts and have an interest in civic action.

Representatives from community-based organizations, arts organizations, school

districts and private teaching studies are invited to nominate youth to serve on

the Youth Advisory Council. Youth may also nominate themselves, but must

include a letter of recommendation that describes why they are a good candidate

for this opportunity.

Reasons to give

3 main reasons why we need your support

1. We are in our second phase of the Phillips Middle School Renovation, this includes the fine tuning necessary for us to open this space to the community!
2. FDFAA Provides scholarships for people in our community.
3. We strive to keep operating costs very low but it does take money to run.
